Meet Jessica Oshidar, President & Director of Legal Operations

I have over 17 years of experience in my field and have spent over 14 of those working alongside Dr. O. For me, there’s no better feeling than delivering a great product, such as a contract, business strategy, or risk advice to my clients. Working under a seasoned attorney has helped me better understand my role as general counsel.

What Type of Experience & Education Do You Have?

I completed my undergraduate studies in Communications at Penn State World Campus, where I received academic Honors. I later continued my legal education in the United States, where I am currently pursuing my Juris Doctorate with a focus on business and transactional law. My goal is to open my own global advisory firm while working at Rex Enterprises.

What Made You Enter the Dental Field?

When I realized there are careers outside of the “norm” in the dental field, like a receptionist or treatment coordinator (no shame, I started there, too!), I pursued the highest degree I could to ensure the business I started with Dr. O, Rex Enterprises, succeeds. I love law and everything about it. It’s a passion of mine. So, combine that with my 17+ years of experience in the dental field and my business experience, and you have one powerful mix!

What Do You Like to Do Outside of the Office?

I have 4 kids (2 biological and 2 bonus kids), and they are everything to me. I also have a Doxiepoo, Bruno, who I am equally obsessed with! I love to travel with my husband, and spend time with my core people and my family.

To be honest, I love a good night out or sweats, couch, and a movie! But Broadway shows, travel, and a good restaurant will always be my heart! However, since I will be a first-generation attorney, for now, you’ll usually find me in the books.
